What's the difference between an HSE kit and a BS8599-1 kit?
HSE kits meet the Health and Safety Executive's guidance for workplace first aid, the minimum legal standard. BS8599-1 kits are stocked to the British Standard, which includes a broader range of contents such as burns dressings and eye pads. Many workplaces choose BS8599-1 as best practice, even though HSE kits satisfy the minimum legal requirement.
What size kit does my workplace need?
Kit size is based on the number of employees the kit is designed to cover, not the size of your premises. Our HSE kits come in 10, 20 and 50-person options. As a general guide, larger or higher-risk workplaces such as warehouses and industrial sites may need bigger or multiple kits than a small office. Can we buy multiple kits at once for a whole site or multiple offices?

How often should our workplace first aid kits be checked and restocked?
